Artist Demonstration: Maki Aizawa & Tsuyo Onodera

Join artist Maki Aizawa with her mother, Master Kimono Maker, Tsuyo Onodera, to learn more about techniques and processes used to create the textiles in Weaving Splendor: Treasures of Asian Textiles from The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art.”

During our demonstration at the Frist Museum on Saturday, October 15, 12:30pm -1:00 pm, I will introduce Kamiko, the Women’s Collective of licensed kimono makers.
